Bellbowrie Strikers Hockey Club is affiliated with the Ipswich Hockey Association. All training and matches occur at the Ipswich Hockey Grounds (Car park entry off Huxham St).

Hookin2Hockey (Hin2H)

Hin2H is our introductory program catering for children from 3 years of age until they are ready to participate in club fixtures (Under 11).

The Hin2H program teaches them fundamental skills of the game.

The program involves a Skills in Action program run over 8 weeks, followed by Game On! - modified games (playing according to their age group - U5's, U7's and U9's.) See the Graphic here.

Our Hin2H program runs on Saturday mornings from 8.45am-10am starting 18 Mar 23 with the last session on Saturday, 12 Aug 23 (breaks for school holidays etc.).

Cost and Registration

Note: there are opportunities to advance into the Junior Competition while continuing the Hin2H program. If your child wishes to play "up" into E grade (Under 11) at any stage, they must transfer their registration to the Hockey QLD "Junior Player Registration – (ages 6 to 18)" registration. This is for player management and insurance purposes. The cost will increase by the difference in the registrations. Cost

Including an Equipment pack from Hockey Australia - $155
Excluding an Equipment pack - $116.50
These costs include the Hockey Australia Registration (and equipment pack), an IHA fee of $50 to cover all program costs for the entire season and a Strikers fee of $30 (paid to Strikers Hockey Club) to cover a medallion, team photo, and the end of season break up. The $80 (IHA and Strikers fee) will be invoiced after registration.
Strikers provides uniform shorts and shirts, but you must purchase socks available in the Shop.
The player can NOT play "up" into E grade (unless the registration is upgraded - see Note above).
